Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching Nominations

The Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) is the highest recognition that a kindergarten through 12th‐grade mathematics or science (including computer science) teacher may receive for outstanding teaching in the United States. Up to 108 teachers are recognized each year. Awards alternate each year between elementary and secondary teachers. Presidential Awardees receive a certificate signed by the President of the United States, a trip to Washington D.C. to attend a series of recognition events, and a $10,000 award from the National Science Foundation.

We are so proud of our very own Ms. Buchsbaum for being nominated for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science and Ms. Laplante for being nominated for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics.

We are so proud that you are part of our Uintah community!
