ELP Q & A Zoom meeting

Join us for an Extended Learning Program Q & A Zoom meeting

❖ Is your child a rapid learner who puts thoughts together quickly?

❖ Does your child have an excellent memory or an unusually large vocabulary and complex sentence structure for his/her age?

❖ Does your child have an advanced comprehension of word nuances, metaphors, and abstract ideas? If so, the district’s Extended Learning Program may be a good fit for your child.

Applications for the 2021-2022 school year are available on the Extended Learning Program website.

Check the ELP website for application deadlines, and assessment timelines.

Help with Technology

THE FIRST AND MOST IMPORTANT THING IF YOU CAN’T LINK TO CONTENT OR SEE VIDEOS IS USE CHROME FOR YOUR BROWSER WITH CANVAS!!!  We learned that the hard way.  Safari and Firefox are also compatible with Canvas!

The following links contain step-by-step visual instructions:

Click here for help with connecting a school computer to your home internet. Do this BEFORE logging in to the computer.

Try these tricks if you can’t login to a school computer from home:

  1. Be sure you’ve connected to your home WiFi BEFORE trying to login
  2. Reboot the computer
  3. Drive to the school parking lot next to the building and try logging in there on the school’s WiFi. Some of the computers do better if they are logged in at school first.

Thank you so much for your patience as we learn with you and work out the bugs in the system!  Happy learning online!
